A one stop solution for damp, mould and condensation
Solving damp issues can be a minefield for landlord's or homeowner's. Our PIV units are a one stop solution for the majority of homes without causing major disturbance or intrusive works to your property.
How does a PIV Unit work?
A PIV Unit works by gently introducing fresh, filtered air into the home. Air is drawn into the unit and passes through filters before being distributed throughout the house. As the air circulates, it creates pressure by diluting, displacing, and eventually replacing the stale air in the home.
Because the air is constantly moving, humid air cannot settle on cold surfaces, such as windows or outer walls, preventing condensation. Eventually, this humid air is expelled through natural leakage points around the home, such as windows, under doors, or even through keyholes. PIV has become the UK's most popular method of low-energy, whole-home ventilation, and is now installed in over 1 million homes across the country.
